GovTEAMS offers several different membership options. See our Membership Types page for a breakdown of each membership type.

Cost of GovTEAMS OFFICIAL

Full Access Membership (APS)	Suitable for APS employees*	$10 per member, per month, ex-GST. Memberships are arranged by your organisation.
Partner Membership	Suitable for external stakeholders working with government who require full access	$290 for 6 months or $490 per year, ex-GST. For Enterprise Partner agreements (10 or more members), please contact us.
State Government Membership	Suitable for state or local government employees who require full access	$350 per member, per year, ex-GST.
Guest Membership	Suitable for external stakeholders working with government who require limited access	Free

*If you’re a contractor with an Australian Public Service email address you can also register as a full access member.

Payment information for members

Full Access memberships are for APS employees and are managed by your agency. Your organisation will tell us how many memberships they need each year so you can focus on what's important, collaborating.

Partner memberships are available for non-APS employees who work with government. Partner membership payment is managed between the partner, the sponsor and GovTEAMS.

Guest memberships are free, and no payment information is required.

Payment information for organisations

GovTEAMS OFFICIAL pricing is based on the number of active memberships within an organisation.

The minimum charge for an active member is 1 month of use. For example, if a member signs into the account at the start of September, they will have access for the full month. If a member goes inactive, their account data will not be deleted and will be restored when the account is reactivated.

Under 100 Average Staffing Level

Commonwealth organisations with an Average Staffing Level (ASL) of 100 employees or less, will be exempt from paying GovTEAMS OFFICIAL membership fees. Note, this does not mean the first 100 memberships will be free to other organisations.

Guest Membership	Guest memberships are not available in GovTEAMS PROTECTED.

GovTEAMS PROTECTED payment information for members

Full Access memberships are for APS employees and are managed by your agency. Your agency will tell us how many GovTEAMS PROTECTED memberships they need each year.

External memberships are available for non-APS employees who work with government. External membership payment is managed between the external member, the sponsor and GovTEAMS.

GovTEAMS PROTECTED payment information for organisations

GovTEAMS PROTECTED members will be billed annually (pro-rata for the financial year). Memberships can be transferred once per quarter if required.

If a member goes inactive their account data will not be deleted and will be restored when the account is reactivated.
